Little Steps

Designed for Growth at Every Stage

At Stepping Stones Early Learning Center, each classroom is thoughtfully designed to support developmental growth through structured routines, purposeful learning, and individualized support. Our programs are organized by age to ensure developmentally appropriate instruction and a balanced classroom environment, while preparing them for their next step with confidence and strong foundational skills.

Preschool Program (3 Years)

Our 3-year-old classroom focuses on building independence, social confidence, and early foundational skills through structured play and guided learning.
 
Children begin developing:

  • Early literacy exposure (letter recognition, phonological awareness)

  • Number sense and counting foundations

  • Emotional regulation and classroom routines

  • Fine motor and hands-on exploration

  • Practice cooperative play and social problem-solving

  • Build independence through daily routines

  • Engage in hands-on math and science exploration

 

Our structured daily schedule provides consistency while allowing room for creativity and exploration.

Pre-K Program (4 years)

Our 4-year-old program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten with confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations.

 

Children build:

  • Phonemic awareness and early reading skills

  • Writing readiness and fine motor strength

  • Foundational math concepts and problem-solving

  • Self-regulation and executive functioning skills

  • Structured routines and classroom responsibility

 

Led by experienced educators, this classroom blends intentional instruction with play-based learning to ensure children are academically prepared and emotionally ready for their next chapter.

Toddler Program (1.5-2 years) (Coming Soon)

Our future toddler program will provide a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment focused on:

  • Language development

  • Motor skill growth

  • Sensory exploration

  • Emotional safety and attachment

Daily Rhythm

A Structured Daily Rhythm

While each classroom differs by age, a typical day includes:

  • Arrival & Morning Routine

  • Guided Learning Activities

  • Purposeful Play Centers

  • Outdoor Movement and Explore

  • Small Group Instruction

  • Storytime & Language Development

  • Rest or quiet time

  • Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack included
