Cancellation Policy

Booking Tours Policy Tours are available by appointment only. Bookings must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability and preparation. Tours are limited to prospective families considering enrollment. Cancellation Policy Families may reschedule or cancel their tour up to 12 hours in advance. If you need to cancel within 12 hours, please contact us directly. Stepping Stones reserves the right to reschedule tours due to illness policies, operational needs, or unforeseen circumstances. Waitlist Policy Stepping Stones Early Learning Center maintains a structured waitlist process to ensure fairness, transparency, and compliance with licensing regulations. Waitlist Placement To be added to the waitlist, families must: • Complete the online waitlist application • Submit the $50 non-refundable waitlist fee per child Waitlist placement is recorded based on the date the completed form and payment are received. Submission of a waitlist application does not guarantee enrollment. Enrollment Priority: Enrollment offers are made based on: • Program availability (age group and classroom space) • Licensing capacity and staffing ratios • Requested schedule (full-time or part-time) • Requested start date • Program fit and the center’s ability to meet the child’s needs Stepping Stones reserves the right to determine appropriate placement to maintain a safe and balanced learning environment. Notification of Openings: When an opening becomes available, families will be contacted via email and/or phone. Families will have 48 hours to accept or decline the placement offer. If no response is received within 48 hours, the spot may be offered to the next family on the waitlist. Enrollment Requirements: If a family accepts placement, an official Brightwheel enrollment invitation will be sent. Required documentation, registration fees, and the first month’s tuition must be submitted within the specified timeline to secure the spot. Failure to complete enrollment requirements may result in forfeiture of placement. Declining an Offer: If a family declines an offered placement: • The $50 waitlist fee remains non-refundable. • The family may request to remain on the waitlist for a future opening, subject to availability. Removal from Waitlist: Families may request removal from the waitlist at any time. Stepping Stones reserves the right to remove a family from the waitlist if communication attempts are unsuccessful after multiple outreach efforts.
